Joe Dimarco

Managing Director

Joseph has been working in the aged care and disability sector for more than 15 years. Joseph has held several senior executive roles with several large providers during periods of substantial growth and change.

Joseph has been involved with several aged care/disability acquisitions, the largest being $85m, as well as acquisitions of medical centres, disability services and home care businesses. He has been consulting for the last 12 years and has worked with a myriad of providers to enhance their financial viability and operational performance.

Joseph and the CareCFO team are committed to supporting both aged care and disability providers to reach their financial and organisation goals and to ultimately fulfill their mission.

When Joseph isn't busy running his business, he enjoys swimming, golf, and beach walks.

Inspiration leadership is a core part of my role. Each day, my team and I have the ability to have a tangible impact on care providers around Australia.

Where is your ideal travel destination?

South America and Japan. Two destinations that provide very different experiences but have an everlasting impact.

Martina Chelini

General Manager of Consulting

Martina has strong abilities in human behaviour including a decade of study, delivery of online therapy and consulting sessions. Her expertise includes hiring, managing and motivating more than 1000 individuals and building strong cohesive teams in a variety of industries.

Martina excels in overseeing end to end operations with strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.

She has sophisticated communication and influential skills and is adept in operational transformation and financial planning.

She is articulate and passionate for leading a transformational vision with the use of digital technologies to drive humanisation, awareness and engagement across online and physical audiences.

Martina encourages and practices an internal value-based culture of accountability and lifelong learning that in turn delivers value to individuals, organisations and the community.

Lily Nolan

Communication Specialist

Lily is a communications specialist with a background in journalism, marketing, and content creation. She has a Bachelor of Journalism and a Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication. With her experience in marketing, content creation, and social media management in the care sector, Lily brings a fresh perspective and valuable, hands-on experience to her role.

Nikoletta Neal

NN Accountability Director & Senior Accountant

Nikoletta had the standard career path of becoming a bookkeeper, then an accountant. In addition to her bachelor of economics she has completed a masters in Professional Accounting at Central Queensland University.

First she was a Quickbooks specialist, providing bookkeeping and training. She always believed that online cloud platforms are the future and desktop software is the past. That is why she became a certified Xero advisor. She has worked as a Xero trainer at The Bookkeeping and Training Group in Sydney, before she established NN Accountability Bookkeeping and Training Group.

In 2014 she became a registered Tax Agent and refocused NN Accountability to become a true-blue Xero business, exclusively working with Xero.

She provides Xero training, integrations, setup/conversion and ongoing support to businesses with all Xero issues. She is a gold champion Xero advisor. As she is passionate about Xero, her mission is to educate business owners to use Xero in the most efficient way.

Dane Jacka

Pauseful Director & Senior Accountant

Dane has been a meditator for over 25 years, having discovered mindfulness as a teenager, and has developed a deep love for these practices. He has sat numerous long, silent meditation retreats in the Vipassana, Insight and Zen traditions as well as undertaken many long solo meditation retreats.

Dane has been a meditation teacher and mindfulness coach for over 10 years and is valued for his precise mindfulness instruction, his ability to articulate intangible experience clearly, his compassion and humour, and his ability to communicate the science of meditation.

He is certified to teach mindfulness as a graduate of the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program delivered through the University of California at Berkley by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, and is a professional member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA). He has an MBA from Griffith University and qualifications in project management.

Danielle Lim

DSL Law Principal

Danielle is an experienced lawyer providing specialist legal advice and practical solutions to the Australian retirement living sector.

She has developed a unique and thorough understanding of the retirement living sector through many years of first-hand experience with national retirement village operators, manufactured home park owners, industry associations, regulators, residents and their families.


Danielle has a special interest in dispute resolution, with a focus of proactively resolving and preventing disputes for the mutual benefit of residents, operators and the industry.

Danielle enjoys being actively involved in the retirement living industry. She is a regular speaker at industry and resident events, has consulted and advised on legislative changes, and is a current member of the Property Council’s Retirement Living Committee and the UDIA’s Seniors Living Committee.

Danielle is also an established property lawyer with expertise in commercial and residential transactions throughout Australia.

Nigel McGothigan

Ave Maria Consultancy Founder and Principal

Nigel McGothigan (NP RN MBA MACN MACNP MACIPC), is a Nurse Practitioner / Registered Nurse with over 35 years of diverse clinical expertise, 25 of those within the aged care sector.

Nigel has practiced in his field of expertise nationally and internationally. Having been employed in multifaceted educative, supervisory and management positions, including as a chief executive officer.

Nigel has served as a clinical advisor to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Health, Australian Council of Health Care Standards and to various aged care boards and organisations. Nigel’s background in bioethics has seen him sit on various medical ethics committees both nationally and internationally. Currently Nigel sits on two not for profit Aged Care Boards.

Nigel’s ongoing commitment to evidence-based best practice nursing has seen him complete post graduate studies in gerontology, nurse education and business.
